Series 260: Microprocessors

The importance of the computer-in every aspect of society-continues to increase dramatically. TPC has designed this series to meet the ever-growing demand for personnel who are knowledgeable about microprocessor-based equipment. The content has been updated to reflect the advances in computer technology that have taken place in recent years. In an effort to make the material accessible to a wider range of readers, the courses have been divided into a beginning "User" level and a more advanced "Technician" level. Courses 261 and 262 provide a general introduction to computer technology and a broad overview of much of the equipment. The "Technician" level, with Courses 266, 267, and 268 covers some of the same subjects, but in much greater detail and with more emphasis on the internal workings of the devices under discussion.
