Technical Skills CD-ROMs

With our courseware you have a wide range of choices in how you want to implement your interactive solution for your particular needs.

• You can use our CDs to run your training on one or more PCs. This is a good choice if you will be training several people at once and don't want to run your training over a network.
• You can install our courseware on a PC hard drive along with TPC Learning Manager. This is a good choice if you are using a dedicated training PC used to train a limited number of students, plus you get all the capabilities of TPC Learning Manager.
• You can install our courseware on a local area network along with TPC Learning Manager. This is a good choice to support concurrent training on any number of PCs, for any number of people, at your local plant or facility.
• You can implement your interactive solution at multiple plants or facilities by running our courseware on local area networks with TPC Learning Manager installed on your wide area network. This is an excellent choice for a comprehensive enterprise solution that does not tie up critical wide area network bandwidth.

Many of our customers integrate their TPC interactive solution with our Self-Study Courseware Manuals to gain more flexibility and give their students options to match their individual learning styles.

• Some students are more comfortable with self-study manuals than they are with learning on a computer. An integrated solution supports every student's learning style and maximizes the effectiveness of your training.
• Each Self-Study Course manual provides exactly the same learning content as the corresponding interactive Course so you can be confident that your students are learning what they need with either type of courseware.
• You may not have the computer resources at all your plants and facilities to support interactive courseware, or it may not be financially practical to implement interactive courseware at smaller facilities with fewer students. Safety CD-ROMs

TPC Training Systems offers over 100 interactive CD-ROM safety courses, covering four major product areas general health and safety, regulatory compliance, laboratory safety, and OSHA's HAZWOPER regulation.

Each interactive course is about 30-45 minutes long depending on the topic. Courses are divided into a number of logical sections, each with its own quiz, so information is easily understood and retained. Also designed with training managers in mind, courses in the Interactive CD-ROM Training Library include a learning management system (LMS) at no additional cost.

Using this system, trainers can define curricula, establish log-in procedures, and even set up "pre-" and "post-" tests. The system also tracks employee activity through a powerful relational database, which can generate a number of informative reports. A database import/export feature also allows information to be transferred to and from databases in other software packages, such as a company's human resource system.

TPC Training Systems' interactive CD-ROM courses and learning management system can be run on stand-alone computers as well as "hard-wired" local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs).
