Training Needs Analysis

This objective, survey-based training needs analysis covers more than 500 core knowledge and skill areas for virtually all crafts, and can be completed in just a couple of hours by a few members of your workforce. We'll analyze the results and give you a detailed report that ranks the core knowledge and skills by importance to the job and frequency of occurrence. And we'll give you a comprehensive report that identifies the specific TPC technical skills courses that cover the highest priority core knowledge and skill requirements.

Task Analysis

Our task analysis builds on the training needs analysis to identify the knowledge and skill requirements specific to your plant, systems, equipment and processes. Our Training Consultants will interview your employees and supervisors, review your systems, equipment, and processes, and review your documentation and procedures. Based on this information, we will provide a detailed report identifying the critical knowledge and skills required for your specific operations, along with training recommendations on how to meet these requirements.

Knowledge Assessments

Once you have established the level of knowledge required in each job position, you need to know what level of knowledge already exists. To find out, our Training Consultants create Knowledge Assessments. Meant to fit your specific needs in areas such as systems, equipment and processes, our consultants select from thousands of time-tested assessment items in our database and create the most appropriate Knowledge Assessment for you. After the assessments have been administered, detailed data and reports on completion, scores and performance are compiled, so you know exactly where your employees stand.

Knowledge Assessments can also be administered over your computer network or online. Using TPC Online, you can assign Knowledge Assessments by job title, department, location or any parameter you define. After the assessments have been administered, detailed data and reports on completion, scores and performance are compiled automatically, making the entire assessment process especially easy and efficient.

Skill Assessments

Our Training Consultants can help you assess skill levels in every job position and for every critical hands-on skill required for successful job performance. We create easy-to-use Skill Assessment Checklists that supervisors and managers can use to objectively evaluate skill levels according to your own criteria. You can use TPC Online™ or TPC Learning Manager™ to quickly and easily assign, track and record Skill Assessment Checklist performance.
