Core Competencies

TPC Training Systems has organized its technical skills library into Core Competencies and Specific Competencies. This section of our course catalog presents our selection of courses pertaining to Core Competencies. These courses cover fundamental skills and knowledge that all entry-level maintenance personnel should possess. Core Competencies are presented as three sub-series, including Fundamentals, Electrical Systems, and Mechanical Systems.

Many of our clients establish baseline training programs that include many courses from our Core Competencies series. This is followed by a selection of courses from our Specific Competencies series which provide more targeted training that is specific to their craft or trade.

The following series comprise our Core Competencies:
