Schoolcraft Subjects:
Series - Mechanical Engineering Technology Series 730:   Mechanical Engineering Technology

The courses in this program cover a wide range of basic mechanical subjects.

The program begins with a detailed examination of the fundamental relationships between force and motion. It then continues with several broad subjects that apply to all mechanical equipment—lubrication, bearings, drives, pumps, and piping systems. These subjects then come together in a pair of courses on hydraulics and another pair on pneumatics.

Prerequisites for these courses include basic computational skills and the ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
