Every three years the National Electric Code® revises its current codes and requirements. The revised 2017 code was recently released with significant changes to arc flash safety and ground-fault protection, in addition to revisions to many other issues.

TPC Training will attend the Southern California Facilities Expo, a two-day event running on the 19th and 20th of April 2017. While at the Expo, TPC Training will offer attendees a one-hour presentation on the most important revisions to the NEC® code, providing an opportunity for facilities managers to get a head start on code adoption.

Live Online and Simulcast Training

In addition to overviewing the new NEC® code, TPC Training will also announce the launch of two exciting new training options:

Simulcasts and Webcasts. Operating under the umbrella of TPC Training's Live Online training program, the new teaching opportunities offer the same advantages as a live classroom, but with greater convenience and lower costs.

Live Online and Simulcast training offers an exciting, dynamic training environment overseen by a TPC Training veteran instructor. Students and instructors interact just as they would in a live classroom. Traditional course materials such as workbooks and reference guides are used in combination with online technology.

Training should prepare your employees for your site’s specific challenges, and Live Online training sessions reflect this need. Instant polls help instructors guide the discussion based on student needs, while quick online quizzes help reinforce learning and aid in retention. Courses include “virtual breakout” sessions for organized exercises applying practical real-world implementation of learned skills. The result is an exciting, cost-efficient means of training staff without on-site visits or costly travel expenses.

TPC Training is the leader in maintenance, repair, and operator training, with complete solutions for a 21st-century workforce to acquire, apply, and adapt essential technical and safety skills.
